One Patient, One Therapist

At Meridian Physical Therapy, each of your treatment sessions is one-on-one with your therapist. Your problem deserves the full attention of your physical therapist dedicated only to your recovery. We don’t use aides, techs, or assistants and you keep your same therapist throughout the full course of your treatment.

We pride ourselves on our use of skilled manual therapy (hands-on) treatment techniques to relieve your pain and improve your ability to move and function. 20-30 minutes of each of your treatments is devoted to manual physical therapy.

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy is the ideal environment for proactive therapy. It combines stress-reduced muscle strengthening with maximum freedom of movement. Rehabilitation specialists now view aquatic therapy as an important adjunct to land-based physical therapy.

Due to the unique advantage of exercising in the water, aquatic therapy is used for the rehabilitation of a wide range of pathologies, injuries, and disabilities such as: Spine Injuries, Hip, knee and shoulder replacements, Orthopedic surgeries, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Osteoporosis, Stroke victims, Athletic injuries, Multiple sclerosis, Balance disorders.

Experts agree that rehabilitation exercises in the water may accelerate healing time and reduce the potential for re-injury.
